What I felt the first time we spoke.
Hearing your voice for the first time
Made me realize there was something more.
I could feel it like the rays of the sun
Warm and comforting.
What I felt the first time we met.
How our eyes locked and I knew
There was no turning back.
How I could take all of you in
And see that confidence radiating forth.
The confidence which I so much desire.
How do I tell you
What I felt the first time we touched.
Feeling your hand gently squeeze mine.
Feeling your arm around me.
Or feeling your hand brush through my hair.
How can I possibly explain these feelings to you?
How can I possibly explain what I feel just thinking about you.
How I long to hear from you
Long to touch you
Long to comfort you and hold you tight
Long to say that you are mine.
